ISLAMABAD – TV show host and journalist Waseem Badami’s X account has been hacked on Wednesday.
Badami appeared in top trending sections as his account on social media giant was compromised.
Several cryptic and indecent posts were shared by the 11th-hour show host as it came out that the anchor was not behind those posts.
Badami himself has not issued any statement on any other social media, but another TV host and Iqrar ul Hassan Syed has confirmed it in a social media post.
وسیم بادامی صاحب کا ٹوئیٹر اکاؤنٹ ہیک کر لیا گیا ہے۔ لہٰذا جب تک اکاؤنٹ واپس حاصل نہیں کر لیا جاتا تب تک اُن کے اکاؤنٹ سے کی گئی تمام ٹوئیٹس کو نظر انداز کیا جائے۔

The person who hacked Badami’s account started preaching morality and it triggered response from social media. The security breach also raised concerns, and it serves as reminder of vulnerability of even the most renowned personalities in online security issues.
