New medical colleges
Though the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I want to raise the issue of hundreds of thousands of students who now cannot sleep at night because they are broken from the inside, their dream of becoming a doctor has broken. They were those who did not sleep before that because they “burned the midnight oil”. They awoke for the whole night and studied to secure admission in medical colleges so that they could make their parents proud for getting into the line of a respectable field, but they could not do that. Despite all that hard work, they could not secure admission. Why? It wasn’t because they haven’t achieved the best by scoring 90 % aggregate, it is due to the fact that we have only limited seats in public sector medical colleges.
So, the only option left for them is to get admission in private sector medical colleges which is not possible for a student who belongs to a middle/poor class family and majority of our population is middle class. Many of them (in lieu of fulfilling their dreams) have to sell their properties because unfortunately their families cannot afford 1.4 million rupees of fee per year. Therefore, the Government should take steps to establish new medical colleges and also hospitals so that students can secure admission and practise their house jobs to become successful doctors and serve the nation with this noble profession.

Unfulfilled promises
Right now many countries including the USA and Asian nations have been toying with the COVID-relief packages. Even though there have been such relief packages getting underway, it is not that clear whether those promises have been really fulfilled or what.
We have been coming across so many coronavirus casualties and other related statistics all up through this ongoing pandemic era. True, finishing the virus once and for all is the prime objective. Not to worry, there have been vaccines hopefully to put an end to the pandemic anytime soon. Besides this, strengthening the all-round economy is the key now. For instance, my native places like Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu have been quickly limping back from the pandemic.
Talking about the relief packages, it is pretty crucial and pretty much significant to safeguard the farming and the people involved. But it is all the more the same when it comes to farmer concerns. If we are serious about getting the food security in perfect place, immediate steps should go into helping the farming community in need in the backdrop of COVID. Ergo, all the countries starting with the US and big continents like Asia should follow strong financial strategies to help increase the farm produce.

“Freedom House report
“Freedom House” is an independent and non-governmental institution which is financially supported by American government. This institute researches on democracy. This institute published its new report (2021) on democracy ranking. In his report it decreased Indian rank from free to semi-free country. However BJP condemned it and said it is propaganda against India. In this report, it is said that: in the period of BJP government world largest democracy is going toward the dictatorship.
In this report the events of 195 countries and more than 15 regions of the world from (Jan 2020 to Dec 2020) have been collected. In the report, rebel violence against Muslims of India, threat to journalists and intervention in courts have been mentioned.
Further it is said, instead of taking world largest democracy championship award Modi government is going to throw India into the black hole of dictatorship. It has been also narrated in this report that the leadership of India gave preference to the “Hindus” nationalist interests, instead of giving basic rights to the public. The report further mentions that in Covid days, India imposed lockdown in a very crap way. Because due to this lockdown millions of poor workers faced hardships.
