Importance
of Daughter’s Day
World Daughter’s Day which was celebrated on September 27th is the only day dedicated to the little angels of our families. The day allows us to admire our daughters, their contribution and the splendour they bring to our homes. A daughter is truly a gift from God. She is always caring, helping and courteous. She helps her parents in an every possible manner. A daughter is a very special creation in the family. Daughters are not only delicate and lovely, but also a strong pillar of the family. Their sometimes, sweet, smiley faces and beauty encapsulates the joy of parenthood and becomes the cornerstone of strength in families.
Daughters Day is a special day set out to celebrate girls for being equal opportunity human beings. The stigma that some cultures have placed around the girl child has not only demoralised girls but also taken away their dignity as human beings. Therefore, this special day is meant to erase the bad memories and stigmas, which are attached to having a baby girl instead of a boy.
Most developing countries around the world have a tendency of stigmatizing girls and creating a notion that boys are more important than girls. As a result, creating a special day such as Daughters Day generates a sense of belonging and worthiness for girls. I have only one daughter whose name is Sweta and I love her very much.

Cheating in educational institutions
I am very concerned about cheating and how many students are cheating on tests, copying other students’ homework, and stealing answers to tests. In a survey conducted it was found that “nearly ninety percent of students said cheating was common at their school. Seventy-six percent said they had cheated on tests.” This is a very serious problem in schools and something needs to be done. It is difficult for children not to be influenced by their parents and other adults. If your parents cheat on their taxes or try to get out of paying a traffic ticket, they are not setting good examples for their children. Children will think that if my parents can cheat, why can’t I? When people who hold public office cheat, how can we expect children to be honest? Parents should encourage their children to work independently, study hard and learn to accept failures. Learning by making mistakes is important.
Teachers should also help by setting up the classroom in a way that cheating isn’t possible. The school administration needs to make strict rules and punishment when students cheat. Cheating doesn’t accomplish anything. When you accomplish things without the help of other people you feel good about yourself. People who gain success by cheating are only cheating themselves.

Mamombe in custody
It is disheartening to hear that the young MDC Alliance legislator for Harare west Joana Mamombe in custody for two weeks for her to be examined by two government doctors after the state said that it suspects her of faking mental illness to avoid trial. It is clear that Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his government are both need urgent psychopathy doctor, to arrest the patient instead of hospital. It is heartbreaking four months ago Joana Mamombe, Youth Assembly Deputy Chairperson Cecilia Chimbiri and another youth member Netsai Marova have been arrested in connection with a demonstration staged in Warren Park suburb.
The three were reportedly identified by police at a Road Block near National Sports Stadium. They are detained at Harare Central Police. The deteriorating human rights situation in Zimbabwe is the continuation of a consistent pattern of human rights abuses. Zimbabwe has suffered a serious breakdown in law and order, resulting in major violations of human rights. Clueless, careless and corrupt Emmerson Mnangagwa his reckless, irresponsible ZANU-PF government should be removed from power.

Punishments for rapists
Another girl was kidnapped and brutally raped in Clifton, Karachi. The women lodged a First Information Report (FIR) on Tuesday at a nearby police station where she stated that she worked in a Clifton market. She had finished her duty and was waiting for public transport when two men travelling in Vigo kidnapped her, took her to their apartment in Clifton and raped her. SSP-South Sheeraz Nazeer said that police has got significant clues against culprits and they are soon going to trace and arrest them. In addition, this is not the first time as a mother of two was raped a few days ago on Sialkot-Lahore motorway.
Furthermore four armed men in a village, who had come for robbery, raped another woman twice in front of her children and husband. After each passing day, our country is reporting rape cases despite being an Islamic state. Prime Minister Imran Khan in his recent interview to a TV channel suggested publicly hanging and chemical or physical castration of rapists, but chemical castration may not last forever. A perfect punishment should be there for such animals that destroy lives of innocent female for their lust.
