Is woman safe?

Woman, being the most essential part of a society, yet subjected to various kinds of violence. The recent case of a female rape on motorway has left the nation high and dry and posed a big question mark on our justice system. History is witnessed, in the democratic state the woman is always treated as sub-human.
I have been sighting since 2000s about these brutalities. Various girls, women and children had been rapped. Nevertheless, the first-rate instance of this is of Mukhtaran Bibi, as she was rapped by the thanes of her village. Moreover, this incident went upfront of the judges of different courts, but she couldn’t get justice. Another case, Kainat Soomro, the 13 year old girl was kidnapped and the same brutality happens with her as well. Nonetheless, the offenders got retribution but still the wounds are not parched in the hearts of their parents.
This sexual abuse is building up steadily. Thus, our justice system must take vigorous action against the rapists to decimate these vicious acts from the country of Islamic Republicans. They must be asked why there is a massive increase in sexual assaulting, because they are responsible for these things. It is the obligation of our justice system to control the brutalities across the country, but it is lamented that … !

Political influence

Quaid-e-Azam once said “There is no power on earth that can undo Pakistan”. Quaid-i-Azam firmly believed that Pakistan is/would be so powerful that no country would harm it. But unfortunately, political influence in all sectors is taking hold which is more dangerous than that of external threats.
In Sindh, there is utter lack of meritocracy in government and private organizations. Every institution requires political reference even for petty issues. If one seeks admission in any college or university, there is need of influence. Similarly, majority of graduate students do not apply for jobs because of political interference. Indubitably, there is no democracy in Sindh; because democracy is government of the people, by the people, for the people. But Sindh is in the grip of feudalism, nepotism and favouritism.
Going to hospitals in Sindh, you would find yourself hapless. Because politically-appointed doctors and paramedical staff do not care for those who have no reference. At the time of general election, majority of people cast their vote in the hope that their genuine problems would be solved on merit but………!
Pakistan does not have any threat from any external rival, but from within, sifarish is one example. There is a great need of merit as Pakistan needs meritocracy in all its institutions and organizations so that country could get progress and prosperity.

Motorway incident!

Today, the world witnessed a tragedy; a repetitive act of brutality, harassment and rape openly at Motorway, Lahore. A mother is trashed and raped by the wicked in front of her children, and she kept asking and shouting for help and mercy. But unfortunately, no one was there to help her.
This is not first time that a woman has been raped, but it is happening everyday all over Pakistan and no one is paying attention. Authorities, police and political leaders have always saved/supported criminals from being punished. After Zainab’s incident, a child was raped and murdered by cruel rapists, unfortunately she didn’t get justice and many families from Sindh are victim of such cruelty, too, but no justice has prevailed.
Now why actually rapes and harassment activities are increasing? The main reason is lack of justice. There is no proper and supporting justice system that can save poor and hang the cruel. Furthermore, no proper campaign and awareness sessions are organized to promote “Self help and safety,” and they are always ignored whereas, rapists are appreciated, and they keep doing same. Due to such activities, many people have committed suicide; have become victim of depression and inferiority complex. Finally, government and leaders should work on making effective and workable policies to bring change and save women and children from the brutality. Stop this cruelty before it knocks your door and destroy your happiness.

Looming cases of rape

Rape cases have become rampant in Pakistan. Lately, the cases like brutal gang rape, child abuse and killing of transgender have been reported; however, no practical action is taken against the perpetuators. Instead of taking any punitive action against the monsters, the authorities and police officials are giving daunting statements to the media, that’s sadly an ill-mentality of our society.
Now it seems impossible for a woman to step out of her house. PM Imran Khan had vowed to turn Pakistan into “Riyasat-e-Madina” but it has not happened so; we don’t know why. The burgeoning cases are evidence that PTI seems to have failed miserably in bringing Islamic justice in the country. However, the people now have anger against the authorities because of their futile investigation processes. They are demanding hanging of the rapists in public to create a deterrent example for other malevolent culprits, because these people are a nuisance for our country.

No system of “ reward & punishment”

We are living in a society where there is no concept of reward and punishment. On a daily basis, we see, hear and read cases of heinous crimes such as gang rape and then killing of a female child, collapse of illegally constructed buildings/plazas due to substandard material, killing of innocent persons in fake police encounters, robbers’ killing of innocent persons over resistance and so on. Unfortunately, the concerned officials of the government machinery fail to take the required action against the accused.
However, the concerned government officials wake up from slumber only when a huge cry is raised against these criminal acts in electronic media. Also, our society does not reward and encourage those persons who are doing a good job for the general welfare and prosperity of the common citizens of this country.
How can a society survive in a healthy manner where the perpetrators of a crime remain unpunished and the good job doers remain unrewarded? Only a strong system of both “reward and punishment” can save our society from further deterioration.

Mumbai does not belong to Sanjay Raut

The Mumbai police have gained a very bad name not only in India, but all over the world, as they are only fit for taking bribes and giving bad words to people. The public should all get together and parade the entire police force naked on the streets in order to teach them a lesson.
Now, they are threatening actress Kangana Ranaut and have even filed a false case against her for taking drugs. They have also demolished her office and her bungalow just because she spoke against some politicians and Bollywood stars who have been taking drugs and have been involved in illegal activities.
Sanjay Raut, Member of Parliament belonging to the Shiv Sena Party has even told Kangana Ranaut not to return to Mumbai from Manali (Himachal Pradesh) or else he will break her legs. Mumbai does not belong to Sanjay Raut or his father. Mumbai is India and India is Mumbai. It belongs to all Indians. Both Sanjay Raut and Uddhav Thackeray should know that.
