Use of papers inscribed with Quran verses banned

The Punjab government has imposed ban on utilizing papers inscribe with Verses of Hoy Quran Pak and other screed verses as waste-paper in the Province under section 144 to ensure sanctity of sacred verses.
In this connection, Deputy Commissioner, Hafizabad, Naveed Shahzad Mirza has directed the officers of all concerned departments to launch special campaign to create awareness among people to stop utilization of sacred papers for packing of goods in the district.
