UPA shocked over deaths of tourists in Murree

The United Peace Alliance, an association of several Hurriyat organizations, has expressed grief and shock over the tragedy that happened in Murree, killing nearly two dozen tourists.

Hurriyat leader and the chairman of the United Peace Alliance, Mir Shahid Saleem in a statement in Jammu said that on receiving the news of the this tragedy every Kashmiri was in a state of shock on such a great loss of human lives.

He expressed solidarity with the families of those who lost their kith and kins in this colossal tragedy and called upon the authorities in Pakistan to speed up the rescue operation.

Fateha Khawani and a two minutes silence were also observed in a meeting which was attended by the different constituents of the United Peace Alli-ance.—KMS
