UO’s Zoology, Law departments conduct collaborative research


The University of Okara’s Department of Zoology and School of Law collaborated to conduct a research titled as “Punjab Wildlife (Protection, Preservation, Conservation and Management) Act 1974, Bottlenecks and Way Forward’.

The study was supervised by the Chairperson, Institute of Pure & Applied Zoology (IPAZ), Prof Dr Muhammad Wajid, Assistant Professor of Zoology, Dr Manzoor Ahmad and Assistant Professor of Law, Sohail Asghar.

Commenting on the objectives and nature of this research, Prof Wajid told, “This transdisciplinary collaboration is the first of its kind in the academic history of Pakistan.
