Unknown persons chop down over 50 apple trees in Kupwara

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, unknown people chopped down over fifty apple tree saplings in Kupwara district.

The orchard belonging to one Mohammad Rafeeq Shiekh was found axed on intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday in Sogam area of the district.

A case is being registered in this regard for in-vestigations into the matter, a police official said.—KMS
