KARACHI – United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), in collaboration with Pakistan’s Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment in Islamabad, announced new career opportunities aimed at highly educated Pakistani professionals seeking international careers in humanitarian service.
The initiative brings global job openings within UNHCR, encouraging candidates to “serve humanity with global recognition” by building their future with the UN agency.
According to the announcement, UNHCR’s core responsibilities include protection of refugees, displaced persons, and stateless individuals, ensuring the safeguarding of fundamental human rights, and developing long-term solutions for safe resettlement and rehabilitation of vulnerable populations worldwide.
