Two girls gang-raped in provincial capital

Two girls were gang-raped at gunpoint by unidentified men in Gujjar Pura factory area of Lahore on Wednesday, reported a private channel.

Both the girls were abducted from adjacent Shahdara town and were taken to the factory in Gujjar Pura where three people gang-raped them. The Lahore Police have arrested the Karol Ghati factory owner.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar took notice of the gang-rape incident and sought a report from the Lahore CCPO.

The Punjab chief minister said that it was the responsibility of the government to provide justice to the affected girls and punish the accused involved in such incidents.
