The latest notification and ban on TV drama s by PEMRA that include intimate scenes / bold subjects has put lot of TV producers in serious issues.
The producers did contracts with channels with consent of the content dept and some have already completed their projects with the channels approval and some are midway, the channels have asked PEMRA to reconsider their Notifications but it seems that the producers have to amend/ reshot and edit their projects in compliance with Pemras guidelines which will take a lot of time and amount and to have the combined dates of all artists and technicians will be a daunting task for the producers.
The production houses which have already completed their projects include, hash on productions, seesaw entertainment, and Imagine Entertainment to name a few.
