Administrator D.M.C East Rahmatullah Sheikh has said that D.M.C East is doing its utmost to improve the condition of drains; we are fulfilling responsibility under our jurisdiction. The blast in Mahmoodabad is unfortunate which not the negligence of D.M.C East is.
He expressed these views along with Municipal Commissioner Fahim Khan, Superintending Engineer Civil Works Salman Memon, Director Tauqeer Abbas and others after the blast near Corporation Gate Mahmoodabad.
During the inspection, he said that the citizens should also play their role in preventing such incidents; the drains should be used only as drains. In the Cleaning of drains Care has been taken and will be taken care of in future also.
He directed the officers present on the occasion repair the drain on urgent basis and submit a report in this regard. It is need to be betterment of drains after scrutiny wherever they need to be the work should be done in a timely manner so that such incidents do not happen.
Therefore, the officers should not show any kind of negligence as negligence will not be tolerated in this regard.
