United States President Donald Trump has expressed confidence that ongoing negotiations with Iran could produce a positive outcome.
Speaking at televised Cabinet meeting held at Camp David, he said several senior US officials, including Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, JD Vance and Marco Rubio, are actively participating in the discussions.
Responding to a question about his expectations for the coming four weeks, Trump said the US would exert intense pressure on Iran.
“We’re going to hit Iran very hard,” he said, adding that eventually Tehran could reach a point where it decides it “just can’t take it anymore.”
