Tributes paid to late Abdul Hameed Karimi

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, delegations of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and other organizations visited the ancestral home of Abdul Hameed Karimi, a renowned scholar, writer and freedom leader of Kashmir, and offered condolences to his family.

The APHC delegation comprising its Working Vice Chairman Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar, General Secretary Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani and Hanif visited the residence of the Late Karimi in Bara-mulla and expressed condolence with his family over his death.

The delegation said that the services of the late leader for the Kashmir cause would al-ways be remembered.

Another delegation led by Democratic Political Movement general secretary Pir Hilal during the visit said that Abdul Hameed Karimi gave valuable sacrifices for the freedom movement.

Pir Hilal on the occasion said that he migrated for the cause and always struggled against Indian domination.

He said that Abdul Hameed Karimi continued to play his role in the struggle for freedom till the last moment.

The delegation also conveyed its condolences to the Chairman of the Democratic Political Movement Khawaja Firdous who is the son-in-law of the late Abdul Hameed Karimi.—KMS
