A three-year-old boy was allegedly strangled to death after rape in Badami Bagh area on Friday.
Police said the boy was taken to Mayo Hospital by a neighbour allegedly after he was found lying unconscious in Saadat Colony, Badami Bagh.
Police said the doctors declared the boy dead on arrival and alerted them. On reaching the hospital, police shifted the body to the morgue for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, the victim’s father, Noor Khan, lodged a complaint stating that his son had gone to the market to buy some food items with his sister and was later found unconscious.
He alleged that his son was raped and strangled by someone and a case should be registered against the unidentified criminal(s).
