Three Pff Officials Complete Fifa Training Ahead Of Saff U 17 Bid

ISLAMABAD – Three officials from the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) have successfully completed specialized training provided by FIFA, aimed at enhancing their administrative and operational capabilities for managing international tournaments.

The training was conducted during the Under-17 FIFA World Cup held in Qatar.

According to sources, the three-day training sessions focused on equipping PFF officials with the skills required to handle the complexities of multi-national football events. Essam Sani from the Operations Department, Aziz Malik from Administration and Ahmed Hashmat from Marketing were the participants representing Pakistan. They engaged in comprehensive sessions covering operational planning, logistics, administration, and marketing strategies essential for hosting high-profile tournaments.

Officials said the training offered them exposure to international best practices, allowing them to understand the standards FIFA expects from host associations. “The experience was highly beneficial, particularly in understanding how large-scale football events are organized and managed efficiently,” a source associated with the PFF said.

The initiative is part of the federation’s broader efforts to prepare for hosting next year’s SAFF Under-17 Football Championship. PFF President Mohsin Gilani took a proactive role in ensuring that the officials underwent FIFA’s training, highlighting the federation’s commitment to meeting international standards and successfully hosting the championship.

The PFF aims to use this training to strengthen its organizational capacity, ensuring seamless management of the upcoming tournament. Sources say that the training will also help improve internal administrative processes and provide better support to players, coaches, and staff during international events.

By gaining firsthand experience from FIFA, the PFF officials are expected to bring back actionable insights that can be implemented in Pakistan’s football operations.

The federation’s proactive steps indicated a growing focus on professional development and international collaboration, reinforcing its commitment to advancing football standards in the country.
