Resident doctors at Government Medical College Srinagar have issued a warning to the authorities, stating that they will stage protests against the ongoing delays in salaries.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the doctors have raised this issue with the authorities repeatedly over the past month, but their salaries have still not been disbursed on time.
The Resident Doctors Association, which represents the collective voice of medical professionals, has highlighted that this problem has persisted for over a year, with payments being delayed by more than five months. They have cautioned that if salaries are not paid within the next three days, they may organize protests that could potentially disrupt medical services.—KMS
