Several social media users criticised what they viewed as the increasingly bold content appearing in Pakistani entertainment productions, with some comparing the scene to content seen in Turkish and Indian films.
One wrote, “Ye Kia Ho ra Pakistan ma yar Kya bag..ti ha…”
“Pakistani dramas are now resembling Turkish series.” Another wrote, “It seems like an Indian movie.” One added, “Say it is AI, otherwise I will go abusive.”
Some social media users also called on the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to take action against the short film and those involved.
