ISLAMABAD – The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has started receiving applications for new gas connections in Gilgit region.
It has initiated a new gasification project in Gilgit in a significant move towards public convenience and environmental safety.
This project marks the beginning of a shift from LPG cylinders to a safer and eco-friendly piped gas supply system in the region.
The initiative promises round-the-clock availability of natural gas through a pipeline network, eliminating the hassle of cylinder refills. The new system is expected to be safer, more economical, and environmentally friendly.
SNGPL New Connections
In an official statement shared on social media platform X, SNGPL officials have announced that customers in Gilgit can now avail gas connections on easy installments through the Domestic Meter Financing Scheme.
This facility aims to provide financial ease and broader access to natural gas for households across Gilgit.

The company has established a customer service center on Riaz Road, Jutial in Gilgit, to assist residents and manage installations. SNGPL is encouraging the public to join early to benefit from uninterrupted gas supply.
Demand Notice Fee
As per the official website of SNGPL, the demand notice fee in normal category for houses up to 10 marlas stands at Rs6,000 and for above 10 marlas Rs7,500.
