RAWALPINDI – Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a temporary gas suspension in parts of Rawalpindi due to an urgent pipeline repair near Akbar Chowk to Takalmo Chowk.
The gas supply will be interrupted from 10:00 PM on June 24 until 6:00 AM on June 25, it said in a notice shared on social media platform, X.
The affected areas include Jarar Camp, Dhamyal Campp, Chakri Road, Misrial Road, Range Road, GHQ, Dhoke Syedan, Peoples Colony, Kamalabad, Quaid-e-Azam Colongy, Dheri Hassanabad, and surrounding localities.
SNGPL has advised residents of the impacted neighborhoods to make alternative arrangements during the suspension period. The company has assured that efforts are underway to complete the repair work promptly and restore the supply by the announced time.
Consumers are requested to cooperate with the maintenance team and avoid using gas appliances during the outage to ensure safety.
