Singapore has praised Pakistan’s role in supporting peace and stability in the region through facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran.
In a telephone call on Thursday, Singapore’s Foreign Minister Dr Vivian Balakrishnan commended Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Pakistan’s leadership for their contribution to promoting peace in the region.
Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to advancing peace and development both regionally and beyond.

The two sides also exchanged views on maritime affairs and recent incidents in international waters, agreeing to strengthen coordination between the relevant authorities of both countries.
They further reviewed bilateral relations, highlighting the importance of continued high-level engagement and agreeing to stay in close contact going forward.
