Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organisation has released an official advisory announcing that assistance services are available for vessels navigating the Strait of Hormuz and surrounding waters.
According to a post shared by Mehr News Agency on X, the ships may access support including food supplies, refuelling, medical aid, and limited authorised repair services. Vessels in need of assistance are instructed to contact the nearest Iranian port traffic control centre using VHF Channel 16.
