The society has also been managing five charitable hospitals, 15 clinics, and 22 schools. The society has also been running a senior citizens’ home for shelterless aged people. Ghani praised that all these services were being provided almost free of charge.
He told the audience that the Al-Mustafa Welfare Society had been rendering its fullest support to the government to fulfil its basic obligations regarding the welfare and well-being of the people.
He said the Sindh government would fully assist the society in getting land for constructing a new hospital and graveyard. The Local Government Minister said the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had always helped out the genuine charities. He said that more modern mortuaries should be built in Karachi, keeping in view the rapid increase in its population.
