Sindh education dept announces Oxford University Scholarships for students

KARACHI – The Sindh Education Department on Thursday announced the scholarships for students seeking admission to Oxford University, opening opportunities for graduate, master’s, M.Phil and Ph.D. candidates.

A spokesperson for the department confirmed that the scholarships would be available to students who meet the following eligibility criteria: The applicants must possess a Sindh domicile and national identity card.

Additionally, candidates are required to meet Oxford University’s merit standards and demonstrate proficiency in the English language.

The spokesperson also added that the shortlisted candidates would undergo an interview process before being finalized for the scholarship.

The initiative, as per the reports, is a result of the recent visit of Bilawal Bhutto and the Chief Minister of Sindh to Oxford University, highlighting the government’s continued efforts to promote educational opportunities for students in the province.
