KARACHI – Silver prices in Pakistan moved higher over weekend, with per tola rate rising by Rs41 to Rs6,070 amid gains in the international bullion market.
Gold prices also rebounded over weekend, with price per tola rising to Rs424,236 after gains in the international bullion market.

Gold prices staged a strong comeback in Pakistan over the weekend, reversing Friday’s losses as renewed strength in the international bullion market lifted domestic rates. On Saturday, the price of one tola of gold climbed by Rs2,400 to Rs424,236, while the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs2,057, reaching Rs363,713.
The rebound follows a sharp correction in the local market on Friday, when gold prices had plunged by Rs3,600 per tola to settle at Rs421,836.
The latest surge was driven by gains in the global bullion market, where gold advanced by $24 per ounce. International prices rose to $4,018 per ounce, including a $20 premium, providing fresh momentum to domestic rates.
Silver also joined the upward trend, with its local price rising by Rs41 per tola to Rs6,070.
