Citizens of Sialkot enjoyed kites flying during Eid Days, police arrested nine persons and recovered kites and strings from them.

On one side the fear of the Corona virus and the other hand, the colorful Kites in the sky were presenting the Eid colors.

Citizens said that citizens are not used to being locked in homes on Eid day, so they enjoy kite flying on their roofs.

They further said that the kite flying ban should be lifted until the relief of the Corona epidemic is obtained so that people can stay at home and fly kites on roof, thus maintaining social distance. Police arrested nine people for kite flying and recovered Kites and strings from them.

Meanwhile Husband, wife and sister drowned during swimming in the Canal on Eid second day.

Rescue 1122 official waseem told Daily Pakistan Observer that in a bid to get respite from the scorching heat on eid second day, 25 Waqar s/o Hanif, wife 22 Anita and sister 16 Zulaha were swimming near village Blair soken wand in cannel. However, they lost their balance and drowned in the water.

Rescue1122 officials reached the spot and initiated a search operation to recover their bodies but not yet recovered.

It is said that the drowning victims belong to the Youhanabad area of Lahore and they had come to their relatives in Kotli Bhatta village of Sialkot.
