Shehbaz Sharif greeted for assuming office of Pakistan PM

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader, Bashir Ahmad Butt, has congratulated Shehbaz Sharif for assuming the office of Pakistan Prime Minister and expressed the hope that the country would progress under his dynamic leadership.

Bashir Ahmad Butt in a statement in Srinagar said a strong and stable Pakistan is imperative for the success of Kashmir freedom movement. He hoped that the new government led by Shehbaz Sharif will not only continue its political, diplomatic and moral support to the just freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people but will vigorously highlight the Kashmir cause and expose ugly face of Indian imperialism on global forums.

The APHC leader said resolution of the Kashmir dispute according to UN resolutions and the will of the Kashmiri people is essential for the peace and development in South Asia.

Meanwhile, APHC-AJK chapter leader, Muhammad Sultan Butt, in his statement in Islamabad also felicitated Shehbaz Sharif on assuming the office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. He appealed to the new government to expedite its efforts to highlight the Kashmir dispute at the international level.—KMS
