Senior Minister, SharjeelInamMemon, has issued a strong directive to accelerate the Yellow Line BRT project. This decision followed a high-level meeting at his office, which Memon chaired. The meeting, attended by Secretary of Transport AsadZamin, Sindh Mass Transit Authority’s Managing Director Kamal Dayo, World Bank representative Lincoln Flor, and international consultants, focused on reviewing the Yellow Line BRT’s construction progress.
Key topics included starting work on the Yellow Line BRT depot and the ongoing development of the Jam Sadiq Bridge.
In the meeting, Sindh Senior Minister SharjeelInamMemon instructed all concerned parties to work on a day-to-day basis to ensure the timely completion of the Yellow Line BRT project and to diligently remove any obstacles causing delays. On this occasion, World Bank representative Lincoln Flor assured his full support for the project.
Speaking at the meeting, Sindh Senior Minister SharjeelInamMemon emphasized that all stakeholders must make collective efforts to meet the deadline for the Yellow Line project. He noted that the project is of great importance to the citizens of Karachi and reiterated the Sindh government’s commitment to completing it as soon as possible.
