LAHORE – Lahore Qalandars Captain Shaheen Shah Afridi hailed the exceptional performance of Sikandar Raza, calling his entry into the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 final like a ‘film’ and declaring him “the number one player in the world,”.
Shaheen Shah Afridi praised his entire team for delivering a strong overall performance throughout the tournament.
He expressed these words while speaking after Lahore Qalandars clinched their third PSL title by defeating Quetta Gladiators by six wickets in a thrilling final,
“Mohammad Naeem and Salman Mirza have immense talent — they are the future of Pakistan cricket,” Afridi said. “And Sikandar Raza’s arrival was like a movie scene; he proved he is the world’s best.”
Afridi further credited the victory to the efforts of Lahore Qalandars’ management. “This third trophy isn’t just my win. It is the result of the hard work and dedication of Sameen Rana and Atif Rana,” he emphasized.
