DI Khan – In an attack on a police checkpost left seven individuals injured, including five police officers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday. Unidentified armed men targeted the Gul Imam checkpost in the Tank district of Dera Ismail Khan.
The incident resulted in injuries to five policemen and two others.
Following the attack, a heavy contingent of police was dispatched to the scene.
The initial reports showed that among the injured are drivers of vehicles transporting poultry, who have been shifted to Tank Hospital.
Those in critical condition were referred to Dera Ismail Khan for further medical treatment.
