Serena Hotel’s annual Iftar dinner features prominent govt, business figures, diplomats

As per the unfailing tradition of hospitality and camaraderie, CEO Serena Hotels, Mr. Aziz Boolani, hosted the Annual Iftar Dinner that was attended by guests hailing from various fields of life and representing diverse sectors of society.

Among the noted guests included Pakistan’s new Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, former caretaker foreign minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, Foreign Secretary SyrusQazi, former-Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, EU Ambassador DrRiinaKionka, Ambassador of France Nicolas Galey, German envoy Alfred Grannas, Poland’s MaciejPisarski, PirHassaanHaseeburRehman of Eidgah Sharif, High Commissioner of Malaysia Mohammad AzharMazlan, Chairman & CEO of Pakistan Observer Mr Faisal Zahid Malik, President of the Pakistan Observer Mr Gauhar Zahid Malik, a large number of diplomats from the Arab and the African countries, government officials, businessmen, heads of international agencies and corporate executives.

They praised the Serena Hotel’s tradition of hospitality particularly upon arrival of the holy month of Ramazan and termed it a great forum to mix with one another and enjoy the Pakistani, continental and the Arabic food.

In his welcome remarks, Aziz Boolani said, “This iftar dinner encapsulates the essence of Ramazan—a time of reflection, generosity, and community.

It is a privilege to gather with our esteemed guests amidst the serene ambiance of Serena Hotels, where we celebrate not only our rich culinary heritage but also the values of compassion and unity.

As we break bread together, let us renew our commitment to fostering understanding and harmony, not just within our walls but across borders and cultures. Ramazan Mubarak to all, and may this evening inspire us to continue spreading kindness and goodwill in all that we do.”

The evening at Serena Hotels celebrated the rich tapestry of flavours offered by its in-house restaurants. Guests enjoyed the cuisine from Middle Eastern fusion food to Pakistani regional specialties, followed by a captivating exploration of Pan-Asian cuisine.

They also experienced culinary delights with the irresistible aromas and flavors of live barbecue stations, ensuring a memorable dining experience filled with gastronomic delights.
