Lauds administration, police on Eid cleaning and security arrangements

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday said that the well-aware and sensible people of Azad Kashmir will give their decision in favour of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf during general elections for AJK Assembly.

“Opposition parties did nothing for welfare of Kashmiri people except for hollow slogans and those who looted the country, will face defeat in Azad Kashmir as well.”

The chief minister said that these elements have never spoken openly on the Kashmir issue and always safeguard their vested interest.

Usman Buzdar said that Kashmiris can no more be hoodwinked by the opposition and they will their mandate to the PTI candidates, adding that election security deposits of those who are promoting “Modi’s narrative” will be confiscated.

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had raised voice against the Indian oppression against Kashmiris and became a true advocate of the cause across the globe.

“The Kashmiri people are fully aware that Prime Minister Imran Khan highlighted the Kashmir dispute at the international level as he is the real advocate of the Kashmiri people.” Usman Buzdar said the PTI government led by Prime Minister Imran Khan has exposed the cruel and ugly face of the Modi government in the comity of nations.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar felicitated the departments concerned for the cleanliness arrangements across Punjab including Lahore on all the three days of Eidul Azha.

In his statement on Saturday, Usman Buzdar said that the police and administration worked as a team on Eidul Azha.

The performance of the agencies concerned regarding cleanliness was commendable and officers and workers deserve appreciation, he added.

CM Usman Buzdar expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements across Punjab to safeguard the lives and property of the people on Eid. He also appreciated the administrative and police officers and officials who were on duty during Eid.

He also commended the cabinet committee on law and order for their performance. On the occasion, CM Buzdar said: “Those who sacrificed their own happiness for the comfort and ease of others are admirable.”

“Performing duty for the convenience of others is no less than praying. Officers and personnel of the police and administration performed their duty with dedication and determination,” he pointed out and added that the people of Punjab celebrated Eidul Azha in a peaceful environment. “We have to continue working with same passion.”

On the other hand, the performance of the Punjab government to ensure the cleanliness on Eidul Azha was also appreciated by the people. ‘Saaf Punjab, shabash Buzdar’ (Clean Punjab, good work Buzdar) has become top trend on Twitter.

The people of Punjab, especially Lahore has commended CM Buzdar and his team on excellent cleanliness arrangements in the province. Many citizens expressed their views on social media regarding the cleanliness situation in their area.

CM Usman Buzdar also appreciated Waste Management Companies, the Wasa and District Administration in his tweet.

Meanwhile, on the special instruction of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar, it has been decided to launch a special drive for inoculating corona vaccination to the maximum number of citizens in 5 major cities of Punjab including Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Multan.

The Chief Minister directed that special campaign should be started to vaccinate as many citizens as possible. This campaign will be started from 26 July and lasted till 10th of August.
