RAWALPINDI – Security forces have eliminated 13 Indian proxy terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the operations against were conducted by security forces in Khyber and Bannu districts on 30 March 2026.
It said an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces in general area Bara, Khyber district. During the conduct of operation, security forces effectively engaged terrorists’ location and after an intense fire exchange, ten militants were killed.
Another intelligence based operation was conducted by security forces in Bannu District. In ensuing fire exchange, three terrorists were effectively killed.
ISPR said sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored terrorists found in the area.
It added that the relentless counter terrorism campaign under vision “Azm-e-Istehkam” (as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has lauded Pakistan’s security forces for killing 13 foreign terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In his statement, the prime minister praised the forces for their professional skill in conducting operations in Bannu and Bara, describing them as a strong shield protecting the country against terrorism.
Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the government remains determined to completely eliminate terrorism from Pakistan, highlighting the security forces’ vital role in safeguarding national security.
