Security Forces Kill Eight Indian Sponsored Terrorists In Mastung Kharan Operations

RAWALPINDI – Security forces have eliminated ten terrorists belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-Al-Khwarij in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In first encounter, a group of Khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy, Fitna Al Khwarij attempted to attack security forces check posts in general area Azam Warsak, South Waziristan district, ISPR said in a press release.

The attempt was effectively thwarted by own troops. During ensuing fire exchange, eight terrorists were killed through effective and precise engagements by own troops.

In another encounter that took place in Dir District, own troops successfully neutralized two more khwarij.

Weapons and ammunition have also been recovered from killed Indian sponsored khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area, as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

A day earlier, security forces killed 12 terrorists linked to Fitna Al Hindustan during two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Balochistan’s Washuk and Mastung districts.

ISPR said that the operations were part of the ongoing Rad-ul-Fitna-3 campaign, a series of intelligence-driven missions targeting Indian-backed terrorist networks.

Military’s media wing stated that troops tracked the movement of six militants in Washuk district on August 5. Acting on intelligence, security forces launched a precise operation and successfully neutralised all six terrorists.

In another IBO carried out on August 6 in Mastung district, security forces engaged another group of militants in a fierce exchange of fire, killing six more terrorists. During the operation, forces also destroyed a militant hideout.
