LAHORE – The Punjab Education Initiatives Management Authority has released the datesheet for mid-term school based assessment (SBA) 2025-26.
It carries the schedule of assessment papers for class 1 to 8 with first test taking place on December 12, 2025.

Schools Timings from December 8 in Punjab
The official notification states that morning shift schools will operate from 9:30am to 11:30 am for just two hours.
Furthermore, afternoon shift timing will be 2:00 am to 4:00 pm while for Fridays it will be 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Punjab Winter Vacations 2025
The Punjab government has reportedly released the winter holidays schedule 2025 for educational institutions in the province.
The education department said winter vacations will begin on December 23, 2025, and will run until January 10, 2026.
Schools in Punjab, both public and private, will remain closed during this period. Educational institutions will reopen on January 13, 2026, marking the end of the winter break.
The schedule applies uniformly to all schools across the province, ensuring that both government and private schools follow the same holiday timeline.
