RIYADH – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced a new multiple-entry Umrah visa that will remain valid for one year from the date of issuance, giving eligible pilgrims greater flexibility to perform Umrah through multiple visits.
Under the new policy, visa holders can enter the Kingdom several times during the 365-day validity period, provided their combined stay does not exceed 90 days.
The initiative forms part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategy and the Pilgrim Experience Program, which aims to simplify travel procedures, improve services, and enhance the overall experience for visitors.
The ministry said pilgrims must purchase an approved service package through the Nusuk platform before each trip.
The selected package cannot extend beyond the number of days remaining on the visa. In addition, travellers must obtain an Umrah permit through the Nusuk application before arriving in Saudi Arabia.
Authorities explained that the visa will automatically become inactive once a visitor leaves the Kingdom. It can be reactivated for another visit after all applicable regulations and requirements have been fulfilled.
The ministry also clarified that the visa will not be valid during the annual Hajj season, from the first day of Dhu Al-Qi’dah until the 13th of Dhu Al-Hijjah.
Officials said the new system is designed to provide greater convenience for pilgrims while strengthening the integration of digital and operational services throughout their spiritual journey.
