Sahiwal Institute of Cardiology on the card, says Chief Minister



Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that work on a separate development package for the development and progress of Sahiwal is under process.

Measures are being taken to establish the Institute of Cardiology in Sahiwal so that the people of the area would not have to travel to Lahore for treatment.

He expressed these views while talking to the PTI leader and former MNA Rai Hassan Nawaz who called on o him at CM Secretariat on Saturday. The Chief Minister said
Every citizen of Punjab will be given universal health coverage.

Sahat Insaaf Card Programme is being successfully carried out in the Sahiwal division he also disclosed that an expressway would be constructed from Samundri interchange for Sahiwal.

Usman Buzdar said the incumbent government is paying attention to those areas which have been intentionally neglected in the past adding that the real journey of development has been started in Punjab.

He warned that the opposition should not engage itself in anti-state activities. No matter what the opposition does, the journey of progress and development will continue.

In the meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has congratulated Jan Muhammad Jamali for his unopposed election as Speaker Baluchistan Assembly.

The CM in his felicitation message expressed good wishes for Jan Muhammad Jamali and said that he is a patriotic and seasoned politician.

He expressed hope that Jan Muhammad Jamali will run the assembly Business in an effective manner. Usman Buzdar said that the Punjab government is always available to serve its Balochi brothers and sisters.
