Former governor of Punjab Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar strongly condemning the ridiculous criticism of Pakistan Army has said that armed forces of Pakistan always remained at front foot during natural and human created disasters. Talking to media in Burewala on Sunday, he said that armed forces of Pakistan are our protectors and baseless criticism against them was regrettable.

Chaudhary Sarwar said that it was not time for political storming as one third of the country was in the grip of devastation caused by floods. All political parties need to sit together to chalk out a joint strategy for helping the country to get rid of the prevailing crises, he stressed. He said that peaceful protest was right of every individual and party in democratic system but it was not an appropriate time to hold long march. Commenting over the defeat of Pakistan cricket team in final of T20 at the hands of England, former governor Punjab said that defeat was part of any game and it was enough that our cricketers struggled to reach final.—INP
