The federal government on Wednesday appointed Raja Shahbaz Khan as Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of Gilgit-Baltistan. Governor GB had sent a summary about the appointment which was approved by Prime Minister Imran Khan after which the GB Council Secretariat has issued notification in this regard.
Raja Shahbaz Khan was rendering services as Judge Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC) in Gilgit-Baltistan. Chief Judge of the Chief Court, GB administered the oath to newly appointed CEC GB during a ceremony.—INP
