The wet and windy conditions led to a noticeable drop in temperatures, offering respite to heat-weary citizens. Weather experts have forecast further intermittent rain and gusty winds in Lahore and other areas of the province during the night.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over the central and upper regions of Pakistan, while continental air continues to dominate most areas.

Under these conditions, rain and windstorms are expected in Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Jhang, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Toba Tek Singh, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Kot Addu, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Multan, and Khanewal on Monday night, with the possibility of isolated hailstorms.
On Tuesday, most districts are likely to experience mainly hot and dry weather, while southern parts may see dust-raising winds. However, Murree and Galyat could receive isolated rain accompanied by gusty winds.

In Lahore, maximum temperatures are expected to range between 35°C and 37°C on Tuesday, rising slightly to between 36°C and 38°C on Wednesday and Thursday.

Over the past 24 hours, most parts of Punjab remained hot and dry, although Lahore and some areas experienced scattered rainfall.
In Lahore, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34°C, with evening relative humidity measured at 67%.
