The Punjab government has introduced a 10% discount on Motor Vehicle Token Tax payments to encourage timely tax compliance and provide financial relief to vehicle owners. The concession will be available until August 31, 2026.
Authorities have urged citizens to pay their Motor Vehicle Token Tax before the deadline to take advantage of the discount, avoid late payment surcharges, and remain compliant with government regulations.
Commenting on the initiative, Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Chairman Faisal Yousaf said the digital payment system developed by the board reflects the provincial government’s commitment to digital governance. He noted that the platform offers citizens a secure, transparent, and convenient way to make government payments.
Yousaf added that the initiative is designed to improve access to public services by leveraging digital technology, making payment processes faster, more efficient, and user-friendly.
Motor Vehicle Token Tax payments can be made through the e-Pay Punjab platform.
