LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched free WiFi service in all girls’ colleges across the province.
The move aims at providing students with easy access to educational resources, online research, and digital learning opportunities.
This initiative marks a significant step towards modern and digital education, enhancing both the quality and convenience of learning for female students, the Punjab Safe Cities Authority said in a statement.
The initiative, spearheaded by Maryam Nawaz, has garnered praise from all corners of the educational institution.
The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the provision of free Wi-Fi, emphasizing how it would ease their daily tasks. “Thanks to Maryam Nawaz for thinking about us,” said one of the students.
“With free Wi-Fi, we will be able to easily search for study materials and reference articles online, which will make our academic work much more efficient.”
The college’s faculty members have also recognized the positive impact of this initiative. “I would like to thank the Safe City Authority for their role in installing the Wi-Fi under Maryam Nawaz’s direction,” said one of the teachers. “This is a much-needed addition that will enhance the learning experience for both students and teachers.”
