Punjab enters a new era of uplift, prosperity: CM Says Pakistan will achieve its destination under leadership of Imran Khan

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Thursday claimed that Punjab is entering a new era of development and prosperity due to the organized economic policies of the PTI government.

“A huge 66 percent increase has been made in the development budget valuing Rs560 billion and a composite roadmap of genuine development is introduced”, the chief minister pointed out, adding that parliamentarians were also consulted to finalize the annual development programme and Rs25 billion is allocated for mega projects through public-private partnership mode.

The CM also announced provision of free health insurance to 100 percent population across the province, adding that universal health insurance is a flagship initiative of the PTI government.

The CM said that a 10 per cent increase has made in the pay and pension of government employees along with a 25 percent special allowance for grade 1 to 19 employees.

He regretted that the opposition is not interested in the development of the people and pointed out that in the past, development was only shown in papers while the masses yearned for development around them.

The past rulers have bankrupted the province with their wrong policies and exhibitory projects, he said.

The PTI inherited a devastated economy in 2018 and has to make difficult decisions to stabilize the economy. These steps are yielding positive results now, concluded the CM.

Meanwhile, the chief minister said Prime Minister Imran Khan is taking decisions in the larger public interest and the PTI-led government has brought big fish into the grip of the law.

Usman Buzdar said the powerful are under the clutches of the law as PM Imran Khan has broken the idols of corruption.

“Now there is no room for the corrupt in Pakistan although the corrupt mafias are trying to protect their booty.

“Those playing with the destiny of people and the nation are not leaders but looters”, said Usman Buzdar and vowed that Pakistan will achieve its destination under the leadership of PM Imran Khan.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar felicitated the Chinese nation over the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of China.

The CM expressed good wishes, saying that the Communist Party of China has achieved historic successes. China has reached new pinnacles of glory and development.

The historic achievements are a role model for others and it is quite sanguine that the party has also rid China of unemployment and poverty, he added.

The CM said China has emerged as a great global power due to the policies, determination and continuous hard work of the Communist Party.

Meanwhile, CM Usman Buzdar sought a report from the Lahore CCPO about the rape incident of of a UK returned girl at Wahdat Colony and directed strict legal action against the arrested criminal. The victim girl be provided justice at every cost, asserted the CM.

On the other hand, CM Usman Buzdar expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the death of senior actor Muhammad Anwar Iqbal Baloch and extended sympathies to the bereaved family.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar condoled the death of the mother of Azman Nabi, Executive Director Khabrain.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar condoled the death of renowned religious scholar and head of Wifaqul Madaris Al-Arabia Dr Abdul Razzaq Sikandar.

In a condolence message, the CM extended sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed that may Almighty Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
