Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar has said that whether the opposition accepts it or not, it has been defeated in Azad Kashmir and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has emerged as winner.
“The victory of PTI in Azad Kashmir elections is a nightmare for Modi.”
Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar stated this while talking to the media and PTI delegations from different districts at Governor House on Monday.
The Punjab governor pointed out that the PTI has now emerged as the biggest political power that enjoys the support of the masses across AJK.
“Thanks to Kashmiris for their overwhelming love and affection with PTI and reposing their all-out trust in the party.”
While congratulating successful candidates on elections, he said that by supporting the change, Kashmiri people have supported Kashmir’s ambassador Prime Minister Imran Khan, adding that the success of PTI in Kashmir is dedicated to hardworking workers of PTI who represented PM’s mission to people by visiting every corner of the AJK.
Ch Sarwar said that success of the PTI in Azad Kashmir is a great milestone in the history of Kashmir, which will usher in new era of prosperity in the AJK.
Chaudhry Sarwar said that the opposition has always been pursuing confrontational politics but now they should accept the results of Azad Kashmir elections by putting egos aside because the people have rejected stance of the opposition and have expressed confidence in PTI and policies of the federal government, adding that PTI will not disappoint the people of Azad Kashmir and the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan will fulfil the promises made to them.
The Punjab governor said that the government is ready for electoral reforms to make the elections in the country completely transparent but the opposition is running away from electoral reforms.
He invited the opposition to work with the government to make the electoral system in the country strong and transparent so that no losing party in future would be able to point fingers at election’s transparency.
Ch Sarwar further said that the PTI has raised voice all over the world for the victims of Indian atrocities in illegal Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and for their freedom.
“Through worst atrocities against innocent Kashmiris at the hands of occupying Indian army, Narendra Modi has unleashed biggest terrorism in the world history”, he declared and added that peace cannot be established in region until Kashmiris get independence.
He said that 220 million Pakistanis stand united with their Kashmiri brethren and will continue support for them in all weathers.
