Protest against authorities’ anti-people policies in IIOJK

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, people staged a protest demo in Kakpora, Pulwana, against the snatching of their lands by the Modi regime in south Kashmir districts.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the authorities are forcibly occupying lands and terrorizing people to vacate and transfer their land for establishing battalion companies for the Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Islamabad, Pulwama and Shopian districts.

People took to the streets to protest against the Indian regime and said if their land is snatched from them, they will intensify their massive protests in coming days.

The protesters said, they have been living here since ages and now suddenly the Indian authorities have declared it ‘state’ land.

“If the land in question is snatched from them, they will hit to roads as they are nowhere to go,” one of the protesters said.

The protesters said, the authorities are intending to give 80 kanals of land to Indian paramilitary forces CRPF in their village. “Where the local population will go. We are the real inhabitants and it is totally injustice to vacate the inhabitants and establish battalion camping sites for CRPF,” they added.

Meanwhile, the General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement, Dr Musaib Ahmad in a press statement in Srinagar appealed to the people of Kashmir and all Kashmiris living across the globe to raise voice and stage massive protests against such brutal and anti-Kashmir acts—KMS
