In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters have appeared in Srinagar and other areas with greeting messages ahead of the Pakistan Day to be celebrated on Wednesday.
The posters pasted by Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Azadi, Kashmir Resistance Movement, Kashmir Hurriyat Youth Forum and Jammu Kashmir Justice League with pictures of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and APHC Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt greeted the Pakistanis on their national day.
The posters were bearing message: ‘One Nation, One Slogan, One Goal.” The posters read India has turned Kashmir into a military garrison.
The posters read, Kashmiris want freedom from Indian illegal occupation and will never compromised on their just cause of right to self determination.
They also read ‘it is the time to get united and raise voice against the Indian occupation’.
The hope was expressed that the people of the country would continue to work for a strong and stable Pakistan as stable Pakistan is the guarantee to peace in the region.
Meanwhile, members of Civil Society Rafiabad, Baramulla, have raised objections over proposed re-naming of Rafiabad constituency and redrawing of its electoral map by including Zaingeer area in the constituency.—KMS
