The confidence of people on police and sense of security has improved in the great extend in the district due to effective measures taken by the District Police Officer Hafizabad Dr. Fahad Ahmad. This was stated by the Incharge Citizen Police lesion Committee Rana Khalid Mehmood while talking to media persons here.
He said that despite acute shortage of Cops, different steps including effective police patrolling at night, census duty, security duty of masques, flour points duty and crackdown on anti-social elements was improved law and order situation and image of community policing was improved among the people which were proved helpful for bridging gap between police and people.
He lauded round the clock duty of Cops in the district and demanded the Inspector General Police Punjab to increase strength of Cops according to ratio of population in the district Hafizabad. Meanwhile, Chairman Muthida Mahaz Aastiza Hafizabad Riaz Ahmad Tarar said that open door policy of Deputy Commissioner Umer Farooq Warraich and Chief Executive Officer Education Wazir Ahmad Agha is providing relief to people especially teacher community.
