As the tension continued gripping the Bajaur tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where thousands of residents as well as the Police force has been taking to streets to resent the attacks on a Polio team and killing of a cop and a Polio vaccinator on Wednesday as well as worst law and order situation in the region, the protests by the men in uniform spread to Lakki Marwat and Bannu where another cop guarding the Polio team was killed Thursday.

Police in Bajaur had announced strike while large number of armed people and cops are observing sit-in against the deteriorating law and order in the region “despite presence of the security forces”, the large scale protests spread to Bannu and Lakki Marwat following the martyrdom of a policeman assigned with the security deputy with the Polio team shooting near a migrant camp in Bannu district.
This incident was the second attack within twenty-four hours targeting polio workers and security personnel. The slain officer, identified as Noor Alam from the Kamchashmi area of Domail, was stationed with a polio team when the attack occurred.
