Awami Muslim League (AML) chief and former federal interior minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said on Monday the PML-N s political ship was about to sink as it had no captain.
Taking to Twitter, he said many PML-N birds [legislators] were ready to fly [switch loyalties], so let’s see how many of them fly. He is of the view that 13 political parties, which have gathered under the umbrella of the PDM, have been shaken and time is fast approaching when these parties will be dumped in their political graveyard. The ex-minister said soon the people of Pakistan would be forced to come out on the streets for their everyday problems, stressing that a political solution was needed in a few weeks to steer the country out of multiple crises. He claimed that the no-trust move against Shehbaz Sharif was no longer a problem. Mr Rashid said the government was uncertain about fulfilling the conditions of the IMF and still awaiting financial assistance from the world. —INP
