ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has reduced petrol and high-speed diesel prices for first fortnight of December 2025 to provide relief to masses amid inflation in the country.

The federal government has revised the petroleum prices based on recommendations of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), the Petroleum Division said in a press release.

The new petrol prices have come into effect on December 1, 2025.

New Petrol Prices in Pakistan

The federal government slashed the petrol price by Rs2, bringing the new rate to Rs263.45 per litre.

Similarly, the price of high speed diesel was reduced by Rs4.79, with new HSD price settling at Rs279.65 per litre.

The government charges around Rs99 per litre on both petrol and high speed diesel.

Depending on the type of car you own, getting a full tank of petrol in December 2025 will cost differently, saving some money for you compared to November 2025.

Suzuki Alto

Suzuki Alto has become a popular car in Pakistan, mainly because of his impressive fuel consumption. In December, the Alto owner will be able to save some money while getting a full tank of 27 litres.

During this month, they will pay Rs7,113.15 compared to Rs71,67.15 in November 2025. It means the Alto owners will save Rs54.05 per tank.

Suzuki Mehran

Getting a full tank of 30 litres of of Suzuki Mehran will cost you Rs7,903.5 in December compared to Rs7,963.5 in previous month. The Mehran owners will save Rs60 on getting a full tank.

Toyota Yaris

The fule tank capacity of Toyota Yaris is 42 litres. So, getting it full will cost you Rs11,064.9 in December compared to Rs11,148.9 in November. The Yaris owners will save Rs84.

Toyota Corolla

The fuel tank capacity of Toyota Corolla ranges between 50 and 55, depending on the variant. During the running month, getting a full tank of petrol will cost you Rs13,172.5-Rs14,489.75.
